Types of Matte Acrylic Sheet by Transparency

Our matte acrylic sheets are produced by creating the matte texture from textured molds or embossed rollers to the sheet surface during casting or extrusion.
When processed at temperatures that match the type of sheet, our matte finish acrylic sheets typically maintain their original matte texture. For casting matte acrylic sheets, we recommend thermoforming at about 170-195 °C. For extruded sheets, the recommended temperature range is approximately 145-160 °C.
We suggest that you use a sharp specialized blade or CO2 laser for cutting while retaining the protective film and providing sufficient support for the sheet. Maintain an appropriate feed rate and make the cutting process slow and uniform. Do not force the blade in or allow the cutting edge to overheat, as this can easily cause internal stress and lead to cracking.
Black or dark matte acrylic sheets can be cut using a diode laser. However, for clear, translucent or light-colored matte acrylic sheets, it is not recommended to use a diode laser for cutting. If you pursue stable cutting quality or production efficiency, we suggest you use CO₂ laser cutting.
