Medical-Grade PC Housings
Medical-Grade PC Housings

Our medical-grade PC components are produced with strict process control. FDA compliant.

Wall thickness stays consistent across the whole housing. Residual stress is low. They hold up to repeated sterilization.

Impact-Proof ABS Battery Enclosures
Impact-Proof ABS Battery Enclosures

Deep draw forming eliminates thin spots along all corners. We produce these enclosures from UL94 V-0 ABS. The material weighs little, takes a hit without damage, and heat won’t warp the shell. We can add extra ribs on high-voltage sections if needed.

Optical-Grade Acrylic Display Windows
Optical-Grade Acrylic Display Windows

We form these panels from optical-grade PMMA using precise thermoforming. Light transmittance tops 92%. Even on curved surfaces, there’s no yellowing or distortion. We tune heating and cooling cycles to lower residual stress within the material. Every piece comes out consistent in clarity.

Flame-Retardant PC Electronic Enclosures

Thin-gauge thermoforming works for server racks, power supplies, and industrial controls.  Shell walls go as thin as 0.8 mm. We mold every housing from UL 94 V-0 flame-retardant PC.

Heavy-Duty ABS Machine Guards
Heavy-Duty ABS Machine Guards

We build these guards from high-impact ABS with heavy-gauge thermoforming, walls over 1.5 mm thick. They stay rigid under vibration and heat. Ribs, clips, and access ports mold in place with no welding. We adjust panels and cutouts to fit your equipment.

High-Transparency PC Protective Visors

Hard coating can be applied to impact-resistant clear PC either during molding or post-shaping. Curved panels hold over 90% light transmission with zero distortion. These clear panels work well for safety visors, face shields, and machine viewing windows.

Food-Grade Thermoformed Plastic Trays
Food-Grade Thermoformed Plastic Trays

We make these trays with smooth, crevice-free surfaces that meet FDA standards. They stack neatly without sticking and wipe clean quickly. Caterers and airline food services use these trays daily. We also make custom logos, different sizes, and compartment layouts to fit your operation.

UV-Stabilized Acrylic Greenhouse Trays
UV-Stabilized Acrylic Greenhouse Trays

UV stabilizers blend into the acrylic sheet, with no surface coating. Thermoforming creates consistent planting cells that won’t crack after years of outdoor use. Greenhouse and hydroponic farms use our trays for daily cultivation. We adjust thickness and drainage patterns to match your growing setup.

High-Impact PC Reusable Shipping Trays

Our mold shop uses sand-cast aluminum for most plastic molds, which offers faster heat transfer and lower cost for thermoforming. Machines get checked every week. That way, they don’t break down in the middle of a run and hold up your order. Robotic arms handle the forming lines. Output stays steady. Parts come out the same, piece after piece.

Zoycen heats the PC with infrared instead of hot air. PC cools fast and needs even heat.

We dry sheets before forming. Even small amounts of moisture cause defects on thick parts. We adjust heating zones and follow the same setup for cooling. Cool air hits deep corners to reduce thin spots; wall thickness stays the same on each part.

We make 15 to 20 sample parts and ship them to you. You check dimensions, clip fit, surface finish, and color. We also offer drop and impact tests for all samples. Production starts after you approve. We go through every batch before shipping and check for sink marks, weld lines, flash, and white streaks.

Zoycen makes medical and food-contact parts in clean production areas. All raw materials get checked as they come in. We go over each finished part before shipping. We follow ISO 9001 standards.

What's the Difference between Vacuum Forming and Pressure Forming?

Both are plastic thermoforming methods. Vacuum forming pulls plastic sheets against molds with suction. Pressure forming uses compressed air from above while a vacuum pulls from below, creating sharper edges and finer surface details.

This process achieves textures as small as 0.5 mm and tight corners down to 0.5 mm. Vacuum forming generally only reaches 2 to 5 mm corner radii. Go with pressure forming if your parts need fine detail.

What's Your Minimum Order Quantity for Thermoformed Components?

Zoycen does not have a fixed minimum order quantity because our corporate clients have different needs, and we can handle small-batch prototyping, medium-scale production, and large-scale orders. We offer better pricing for larger orders. Send us your drawing and quantity, and we’ll quote you accordingly.

How Do You Control Quality in Plastic Thermoforming?

We check raw material certificates before production, and inspect plastic parts’ dimensions and surface quality during production. We also keep a reference sample from your approved batch and compare every new batch against it before shipping.

What Design File Formats Do You Accept?

We accept STEP, IGES, STL, and PDF formats. Our engineers will review your design before the mold manufacturing starts, point out possible problems, and provide DFM feedback.

Do You Ship to Our Country?

Yes. Our customers are located in North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia. You can choose transport by air or by sea. We handle export documentation, export customs clearance, and door-to-door delivery coordination. If your country is a region where we have not delivered, we will check the relevant requirements and confirm any additional costs before we ship.

How Do You Package Thermoformed Parts for International Shipping?

We design packaging based on part shape and surface needs. For clear PC and acrylic parts, we add film or foam padding so they won’t scratch. Thin-wall parts rest inside custom trays to stop shifting or warping mid-transit. We run drop tests on high-value plastic parts before shipping, so nothing gets damaged on the way.

What Is Plastic Thermoforming?

Plastic thermoforming is a manufacturing process that uses force, either vacuum or pressure, to stretch a heated thermoplastic sheet over an engineering mold and create a three-dimensional part. Once formed, the part can be trimmed and finished to meet your specifications. The process itself is versatile, and so are the materials. That’s why you’ll find thermoformed parts across so many applications.

What Industries Use Plastic Thermoforming?

Plastic thermoforming is used in the medical, automotive, food, and electronics industries.

Clear PC medical housings hold up through repeated sterilization cycles. ABS machine guards stay intact under constant vibration. Food-grade trays meet FDA food-contact requirements. You get clear surfaces, solid strength, and lower costs.

Choose the Right Material for Your Thermoforming Project

At Zoycen, we focus on PC, acrylic, and ABS across both thin and heavy gauges. Our parts go into medical devices, electronics, automotive interiors, and industrial equipment.

PC takes the most abuse. It handles impact better than any other thermoforming plastic and stays clear. You can also get it in flame-retardant grades. UL94 V-0 is standard for electronics and medical housings. PC materials cost more than ABS and need tighter process control. It needs drying before forming. Skip that step, and you get bubbles. In thicker sheets, 0.04% moisture is enough to cause defects.

Acrylic is the clearest. UV and scratch resistance are strong points. For display windows, signage, optical lenses, and lighting covers, acrylic is the right choice for these applications. For outdoor parts, we use acrylic with UV stabilizers in the material itself, not just a surface coating. So the UV resistance won’t fade over time.

ABS costs less than PC or acrylic. Automotive interior trim, refrigerator liners, luggage shells, industrial enclosures — these are ABS applications. What ABS doesn’t do is transparency, and it’s not as impact-resistant as PC either.

Secondary Services for Thermoformed Parts

CNC Trimming

Trimming takes off the excess material left around the formed part. The machine follows the exact contour of your part, so edges come out clean, and dimensions stay true to your drawing.

Surface Finishing

Spray painting adds color and protection. High-gloss coating gives a reflective finish. Color matching keeps it consistent from one batch to the next. Logos, instructions, and branding can be silk-screened, pad-printed, or labeled directly onto the part surface.

Assembly

We do adhesive bonding, ultrasonic welding, and mechanical assembly. Living hinges and mounting clips are formed right into the part, so you don’t have to assemble them later.

Packaging, Shipping & Logistics

We pack thin-wall parts in custom trays. They don’t shift during shipping. Clear PC and acrylic parts get film or foam inserts to prevent scratches. Shipping by sea or air. Customs clearance is taken care of. Delivery straight to your factory.
